However, in a base image we would primarily include just MS Office 2007, Symantec A/V. All (ok most) of our applications are then virtualized (using VMWare ThinApp - Formerly Thinstall) and installable from our portal environment. I was in IT for a number of years in our older images we included Office, AV (w/ spyware plugin), and email client. What additional apps do you include on your global images?
